Walled in and locked for years, the secret garden becomes the setting for the transformation of Mary, an ill-tempered child, and Colin, a sickly boy. Coached by Dickon, a young lad at home on the moor, Mary and Colin bring new life to the neglected garden, and, in the process, restore themselves to a robust state of health, putting color in their cheeks and liveliness in their steps.
