Takes the student who is familiar with elementary brush strokes to the next level by providing a series of graduated exercises. The monochrome exercises focus on manipulating the brush to create curved lines and filled spaces, and to show increased depth through use of light and shadow, the color exercises on mixing of colors and elements of composition.
